What is the relocation package?
Our relocation package is a complete support service for candidates who are ready to start a job in the Netherlands but still live abroad. It’s not just about finding you work — it’s about making sure you feel at home from day one.
From arranging your accommodation to picking you up on arrival, we handle the details so you don’t have to.
What’s included?
Here’s what you can expect when you move to the Netherlands with Work in Holland:
1. Private accommodation
We provide a single room in a shared house, meaning you always have your own space. The homes are equipped with:

Washing machine

Kitchen and cooking equipment

Shared bathroom and toilet
-
Personal fridge and TV in your room
We make sure your house is within reasonable travel distance (25–50 minutes) from your workplace, and always near public transport.
2. Pickup on arrival
When you arrive in the Netherlands — whether by plane, bus or car — our coordinator will meet you and bring you to your accommodation. You won’t need to figure things out on your own.
3. Welcome package
At your new home, a small welcome kit will be waiting for you. It includes essentials like shampoo, toothpaste, a toothbrush, toilet paper and more — just enough to get you through the first days.
4. Help with paperwork and registration
We help you register for a BSN number (social security), set up your health insurance, and explain how everything works — including travel cards, groceries, and how to reach your job.
5. First-day guidance
You won’t be alone on your first workday. Our coordinator will go with you to the workplace to make sure everything starts off well and that you know what to expect.
6. 24/7 support
If you have urgent questions or problems, we are always reachable by phone. You’ll never be left without support.
7. Flight reimbursement
After you’ve worked full-time for three months, we’ll reimburse your flight or travel ticket, up to €150. It’s our way of saying thank you for your commitment.
What does it cost?
There are no fees to join Work in Holland, and we don’t charge you for our help.
However, some weekly costs are deducted from your salary:

Accommodation: €165 per week (private room)

Health insurance: €33.45 per week (Zorg & Zekerheid, one of the largest insurers in the Netherlands)
Everything else — the onboarding, the pickup, the guidance, the support — is completely included.

This relocation package is available to all EU citizens who:

Plan to stay at least several months
