About the function
You are going to be working at a department responsible for all incoming cargo. These are containers coming from abroad with products and equipment. You will be working with ULD Control, a software system for logistics operations.
Your work consists of two parts. The first part is based on operational activities. With your skills as a forklift driver you will collect, store and release cargo containers (Unit Loading Devices). You are quick on your feet and are moving a lot through the building. The second part of your job consists of administrative tasks. You are responsible for making sure all relevant information and data is stored and processed in ULD Control.
Working as a Forklift driver ULD Schiphol is a fulltime job. Every week has two night or early morning shifts. For this job it is convenient if you have experience with computer systems. It is mainly a fun and challenging job, but it is also required that you are able to work on stress. You are able to handle pressure and to maintain accuracy in your work. If you are also able to be a teamplayer and to work independently, then you are the right person for the job!
Your work tasks:
Collect cargocontainers (ULD) on our premises
Selecting, stacking and store containers
Issuing equipment on request cargo teamleader
Making sure the working area is clean
Handling the administrative tasks in ULD Control
