We have an agreed number of plates (pallets and boxes) to breakdown at beginning of shift. Each piece has an Airway bill for identification. We breakdown each plate and ensure all loose boxes are stacked on pallets in layers, each layer containing the same number of boxes.

This cargo has to be counted and checked for correct quantities so your responsibilities are:

• Breaking down Cargo, stacking on to pallets by Airway bill number;

• Ensuring Airway bill numbers are not mixed;

• All boxes/Freight to be stacked with no overhang on pallets, damaged boxes to be reported;

• All complete pallets to be wrapped and ready for location by Forklift;

• The work area to be kept clean and free from trip Hazards, Health & Safety adherence;

• You need to be accurate, physically fit, and with good communication skills.

A regular day at the Airport: Cargo Flight YX44 has landed from China and the Cargo from the plane will enter the warehouse shortly. Drink your coffee and put your gloves on, because there will be many boxes to be moved. Together with our colleagues, you go ahead and make sure the nets are removed from the freight so that the team can build off the freight. Before you notice it's already lunchtime. Outside you drink another cup of coffee and a sandwich. In the meantime, Flight MH14 is landed so you will ensure that there are enough pallets for stacking the cargo. The pallets that are already done, must be moved to the warehouse. At the end of the day all the pallets are built for internal transportation and the large pallets are empty. You give your colleague a high five! You have completed the job again. Lose the gloves and off to home!

What can you expect?

• Off course a competitive salary!;

• The possibility to develop yourself in a warehouse environment;

• Assistance with accommodation can be provided! If you are interested please apply with a recent CV.

NOTE: Due to the location of work you will be required to go through security clearance before we can offer you a position. This requires you to fill out an application form, print it off and post it to us along with a scan of your passport picture page to our address. On average it takes 8-12 weeks for this process to be completed. Once we receive notification from The Netherlands, we will then be able to offer you a job.
